bah ha ha! she totally has me figured out! lol! but hey, it sounded cool, no? you're right though, it's all thanks to some orange paper that was next to me while IMing kate and chatting about what our band name should be. we had Warning Level, Inside-Out, Rejected, and a few others i can't remember. anyhoo. i was being stupid and just randomly naming off stuff that was around me (orange paper being one of them) and said, 'how bout orange paper?' and kate totally liked it and was like, "YEAH!" so i stuck with it too, even though i figured we'd change it to tWisted later. (i thought tWisted sounded more like a "professional" band name.) buuut, OP has grown on me now and me likes. :) darn michelle branch and her new cd title though! humph!

ever gone to work in a HOT deli while your temp. is around 100? yeah, it's kinda like hell. i swear, i was so close to passing out a few times. crap, it sucked so bad.

do you wanna know WHY our name is Orange Paper? huh huh huh?! you wanna know WHY? i'll tell ye why.
cuz "'orange' describes the person who is aggressive and competitive." (to quote lady fig). put that with paper and walaa! it makes perfect sense! we're all sooo aggressive when it comes to our wittings! our journals and diaries and stories and blogs and songs and much more! we take everything out on paper! like, for me, i almost never call a friend when i have trouble or drive out to visit with them. nope! i grab some paper and scribble my heart out in a letter. (you know ALL about that, lara.) or i slap some stupid song down in my 'official orange paper book'.
we're filled with such an odd rage, ya know? geez. maybe we should've stuck with twisted. we ARE so messed up.
hmm, our band name still makes no sense to you? oh well, f you, loser and get over it.
