I SO agree about the not using emotions as a excuse for being a dork. Don't those type of girls drive ya crazy?! What makes it more maddening is when you yourself do the same thing and then you pin point it on someone else. Ya know?
Sounds like a good book. And I agree on that also! If the teachings do not allow you to do anything (or learn from other things) but then what they have set, then that's a cult! I kid you not! I went to a week long seminar about that kinda thing. Oyyy. Looooong week. Not that ATI FORCES you to do exactly what they say, but ya know what I mean.
Ever read the book I Gave Dating a 2nd Chance (I think that's what it's called) stuuuupid tittle, eh? The guy is sooo copying the Josh Harris thing. Anyway, I was gunna get it and read it. And have any of you ever read When God Writes Your Love Story? THAT one sounds good. I've heard great things about it too. A girl that I know who is sooo anti-courting read that book and her heart changed toward the whole concept. No, not courtship vs. dating. But to realize that when you allow God to work in your relationship (with your hubby to be) it's such a awesome thing. So I gotta read it!
Kinda like Boy Meets Girl. Boy, that book made me feel soooo dirty! Lol! Schum! *smack smack* ;-)

Ever given any thought to why there's that ache in your heart when you can't have something? You want it sooo bad, but you know you can not have it? Like your heart feels like it's gunna tear right open cuz it hurts so bad? Ya'll know what I mean. Well, about the physical heart ache anyway. Dang, I wish I was a guy and could control my emotions better.

We do have it harder! I don't care what people (men) say. I've heard them whine about shaving everyday, HELLO?! What do you think we do with our legs and arm pits?! Pluck the hairs out, one by one?! I've heard them say that women who dress really sleezy just cause them messed up heads, so when we see a cute guy we don't go coo-coo?! Or how about they work harder. Ok, that I'll give them, just cause God did make them stronger and, hello?! They can do more things physically then we can. But let's face it, we mature and they never do. So does it all even up? Grrr. I think not.
Guys don't have the emotional problems we do. Oh don't get me wrong, they have emotions and they bite just like ours. But ours are soooo much bigger and crazier. Ya know what I'm saying, sistas? If only they knew what our lil brains and hearts go through, yeah, not good. They wouldn't last a day as a girl! I mean, all the junk that we go through!
I know I know! If we give our hearts to God and our dad's then it's not such a big deal. HA! Wrong! We still have to fight and stand strong and try to over come the evilness that engulfs us girls today! With the society we live in today how can we help but not be somewhat influenced? Ya know? There's just so much pressure to be that perfect girl. I say: Bah! Being a girls bites! But do we as girls have it harder? Naw, probably not. But it sure as heck seems like it ALOT of times.

Now that I've typed a bunch of NOTHING!! (Just venting.) I feel waaaay better. Heck! Whaddya know? That hurt in my heart is gone...for now...

C-mas has always meant presents to me. I know that sounds so evil, but it has. If we're gunna be completely honest. My love language is gift giving. I LOVE this time of the year! But this year that has ALL changed and now, for probably the first time in my life I realize how sweet and precious my family is.
I also love the music, not as much as before, but I love the C-mas music. Woohoo! Love that Josh Groban stuff. ;-) So there's sooo much I love about it, but you're right, Li. Just slowing down and taking the time and really thinking of how Jesus came here to dirty smelly earth....WOW. He loves us all sooooooo much.
